This was the first Sunday of the new year. I wanted to get a church photo. It just happened to be Children's Sunday so Pastor had several object lessons for the kids (and adults, too). It's a horrible photo because I was trying to get a picture through the window in the nursing mother's room.
In case you were wondering, the lesson was about putting God first.
Matthew 6:33 - "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
If you fill up your life (the plastic container) with the extras (candy) first, then you won't have room for the important things (fruit) like praying and reading the Bible. However, if you put the important things first, all those little things will be 'added unto you.' The oranges fit into the container and the candy filters in to fill in the gaps.
It was quite a powerful message and I highly recommend getting the CD.

ReplyDeleteI saw your post on Becky's blog today. I called Customer Service several times to ensure I was getting the same answer and then I emailed Mr. Worner...and got the same answer.
If you call Customer Service and they told you that you are on back-order and will receive the kit in 6 weeks ... then you will get a kit. Mr. Worner expects them in February.
The kits that they are waiting on are part of the 4,000 that were initially printed. These are not a new order. CK did not receive the full 4,000 kits right away.

All great pictures! And yay for potty training...even with the accidents, it beats the alternative any day. Your snowy pictures are pretty, too. So happy you are doing this.
