Great Grandma Jean gave Samantha this princess accessory set last night at Bible Study (she also gave Justin a frisbee) and we waited until we were at Grandma's house the next day to open it. She thought it was fun and enjoyed playing with it. Using her sceptor, she 'blessed' people.
It was a wonderfully mild day - a thankful break from the cold of this Spring. The kids really enjoyed playing outdoors and brought out the whole arsenal of toys. Croquet sets, skooters, tricycles, balls, etc. Andrew surprised us all with his strength and balance while using the tricycle as a walker. It actually required more skill from him to control it than walking by himself.
Personal note: My mom gave me money for T.J. Maxx. I don't know exactly what prompted her to bless me, but it was a lot of fun taking an hour long break from the housecleaning to shop and find something pretty to wear for Easter.
