This is Sue Esposito sitting at our dining room table. The photo was taken from Justin's point of view.She came to give us our fair market evaluation. Things look good for our house. With all of our upgrades and hard work our house is worth a nice chunk of change. Even in this bad market ... it hasn't gone down much in the two years we've been working for this moment.
Kevin and I had discussed this extensively and had pretty much decided to go ahead and list our house this Spring. Sue and the Home Selling Team seemed like a good choice. You really should see the numbers ... they sell 42% of the whole real estate market in our area!
So, we signed all the papers and settled on a listing date. We will be putting our house on the market in 14 days! You can see the blue carpet still in the picture. Kevin has some work to do to finish the dining room and then our bedroom. Now that he's back, he can really go at it!
It's exciting to enter into this adventure ... we're believing God for the right buyer at the right time ... we trust that he will provide and it the house doesn't sell before Kevin leaves ... then it wasn't God's best for us. He'll have something amazing planned for us when Kevin returns!
On another note, you can also sort of see the bouquet of flowers on the table. I was downstairs doing laundry when Kevin came home from work. I came upstairs to find a beautiful spray of flowers waiting for me. Kevin is such a sweetheart :) They really were beautiful and I didn't do them justice in the vase.
