Big day and so much to tell you ... where to start?
Well, we woke up early and started working. Moving furniture around, cleaning, organizing, packing, etc.
Kevin made at least three trips to the dump and I still found things that should have gone after he was done.
Abby, Naomi and Danielle came by at noon to help out.
Right before they got here, Samantha dropped our camera while the lense was out.
It broke.
We found out later that it was very bad and the lense and gears would need to be replaced by the manufacturer, costing almost as much as the original camera and more than an equivalent replacement 2 1/2 years later.
It would take a lot of research and several days to decide what to do, but for now, it's just broken.
I was upset. Accidents happen ... but ... I was upset. Upset that I let the kids handle such expensive equipment, upset that she was so careless, but mostly upset that it happened at all. Very expensive mistake.
It took a little while, but we got past that (no use crying over spilled milk) and had a productive day. Kevin worked on the floor in the bedroom with Andrew trying to be the floor for him, Danielle washed windows with the kids, my sisters and I loaded the trailer with stuff to remove from the house, but store for later, etc ...
Big day.
